The Vice President of Sales will lead an OmniChannel sales organization focused on delivering growth and results through a premium customer experience in stores and online.  This role, working closely with each of the Channel Directors, will have P & L ownership for company owned stores, eCommerce and Wholesale channels of business.  The Vice President of Sales must have a deep understanding of store operations, a technical understanding of eCommerce, a bias for action and innovation, and the ability to lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams. 

 

Color Commentary

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year strategy for advancing the business and achieving financial goals
  • Effectively partner with Vice President of Merchandising, Marketing and Design to ensure product needs of the varying constituent base are met; identify industry trends and develop innovative strategies to support growth
  • Effectively partner with Marketing to drive market relevant customer acquisition strategies and execution of branded events and community outreach in key markets
  • Effectively partner with the Vice President of Human Resources to define, develop and deploy variable compensation and incentive programs which motivate the sales teams to exceed sales targets
  • Define and deploy sales practices which drive desired sales results; identifying improvements along the way
  • Manage and develop key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Lead and manage a strong sales team through effective selection, development, and retention strategies
  • Provide strong leadership by creating a positive and engaging work environment

Where you’ve spent your time and what are you good at

  • 10 years of experience in an OmniChannel sales organization
  • 5 years of experience with a proven track record of assessing, attracting, retaining and developing industry leaders and teams
  • Highly developed understanding of Retail, eCommerce and Wholesale business drivers impacting top and bottom line
  • An understanding of OmniChannel business model complexities
  • Proven track record of leading business strategy and driving P&L results
  • Experience innovating and leading through change and transformation to drive an organization forward in financially responsible way
  • Success in an entrepreneurial environment where having a mindset of continuous improvement, juggling priorities, and having diverse responsibilities is the norm
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
