Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is to provide stock support to a store and its team in the interest of driving sales. This position participates in all non-selling tasks to increase productivity and prepare product so it is customer-ready. This includes receiving and processing shipments, replenishing the floor, maintaining stockroom organization, taking markdowns and other projects as assigned by the Management Team. An established style point of view is a must, as you will merchandise and stock items in an ever-changing mix of products that reflect the coastal vibe of the Fresh Produce lifestyle.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

Product:

· Participate in all merchandise-related activities to support the business: process shipments, replenishment, back stock, merchandising, and markdowns as directed.

· Processes shipments in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate hanging, folding, tagging and sizing guidelines. Replenishes selling floor as assigned. Communicates product needs to Management Team.

· Maintain organized stockroom to maximize store efficiency and productivity.

· Works with Management to support safety and security control measures which include safety and security of team members and clients, security against merchandise loss, damage and theft. Ensure that store accurately carries out loss prevention activities and continuously strive to improve product loss.

 

Sales Success:

· Exhibit consistent over the top customer service to exceed our customers’ expectations by helping create a fun, friendly, relaxed and creative shopping experience.

· Demonstrates respect for all Blue Stripe LLC dba Fresh Produce staff and customers alike.

· Creates customer loyalty by educating customers on benefits of product and building the mailing list for future events and promotions.

· Participates in training programs to gain knowledge needed to meet/and exceed company standards and sales goals.

 

Store Team:

· Supports Store Manager in helping support the company expectations and store environment through teamwork and sharing information and resources.

· Communicates regularly with Management Team to share ideas, solicit feedback and receive information about store specific needs and events.

· Supports the selling efforts of the store through merchandise preparation, stocking and other non-sell tasks.

· Uses respect and active listening in all customer, team or business partner communication.

 

Operations:

· Participates in physical inventory counts, markdowns and paperwork as directed to reduce shrink.

· Completes all daily checklists to maintain a clean, organized and safe environment for staff and customers alike.

· Follows all company procedures to safeguard the assets, staff and customers of Blue Stripe LLC dba Fresh Produce.

· Organized, ability to multitask, is efficient and accurate

· Can confidently and easily develop rapport when meeting new people

· Strong communication, interpersonal time management and organizational skills

· Proactive and creative problem solving ability

· Maintain and demonstrate flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends and holidays

· Maintain dependability and good attendance on an ongoing basis

· Physical requirements include the ability to lift 40 pounds, manage stairs and ladders and standing for long periods of time
